Money. It’s a pretty powerful force in our lives as parents. We need it, we use it to care for our families, and we never seem to have enough of it. Think about how much time you spend working for the money you have and how much work comes with managing it properly each month.
Here is a scary thought. One day your teen is going to be on his or her own and needs to know how to handle money. Just take a minute and process that thought. The same teen that spends all of his or her money on movies, clothes, and milkshakes is going to need to build a budget and survive on their own. The question for us in this online parenting class is how do we help our teens handle the issue of money?
